Rights of public access

In Sweden, you will all be in the wild, even in areas that no other has. This is called the right of public access. There is a right and also a responsibility. Walk, ride a bike or go horse-riding

As you may go walking, ride a bike or go horse-riding in the countryside. However, you are not allowed to pass over the land, forest plantations, agricultural fields, or other lands with agricultural crops. Plots of land, the area is close to the farms and residential buildings in which they live, have the right not to be disturbed. If you have to cross a field, you have to be careful to close the gates behind you. Avoid to ride the bike or go horseback riding on trails where the terrain is gentle and the soil is a sensitive one. You are not allowed to ride in marked or uppåkta trails

Motor vehicle and  private roads

You are not allowed to drive a car, motorcycle, or moped, on the ground that isn't covered with snow and ice. It applies to all land, including walking trails, parkways or walking and jogging tracks. You only get to drive a snowmobile, if it is not a risk that you harm the forest, or  the ground under the snow. In some areas, it is strictly forbidden to drive a snowmobile, except on the leading intended for off-road vehicles. It is not permitted to drive a motor vehicle on private roads that are closed to motor vehicles. Such a ban is going to be the shown with a road sign. You are allowed to walk and cycle on private roads..

Tents and caravans

You are allowed to camp in the wild one night. In order to stay a longer period of time in the same place, or several tents, and requires the landowner's permission. You will also need to obtain a permit in order to park your caravan on a private road. You are not allowed to drive with a motorhome or caravan outside of the roads, such as along a beach or in a field.

On the water

You are allowed to drive a boat, anchor and temporarily moor at the shore, go ashore and take a swim at the beaches, except in the vicinity of a residential building, be aware that there are bird sanctuaries and other protected areas, where it may be illegal to ride a boat or to go ashore. These areas are marked with signs

Fishing

You are allowed to fish freely with rod and other tools, along the coast and in the five largest lakes in Sweden. However, in order to be authorized to fish in the other lakes, you aree required to buy fishing licenses and other permits. Free fishing does not include phishing sites,  trolling, Nor does the inclusion of salmon fishing on the coast of northern sweden.

Dogs

Leave animal nests, and hatchlings in peace. It is prohibited to disturb or harm the wildlife. Between 1 march and 20 August, while the animals have their young with them, you are not allowed to the let dogs  run loose in the wild. For the rest of the year, you need to have your dog in the eyesite while you're out in the wild. In many of the recreation areas and in the archipelago, it is ordinary that the dogs must be kept on a leash.

Fire

During the summer, it is common to have fireprohibition. Where are all of the the use of open fire is prohibited, including in prepared fireplaces. Berries, mushrooms and flowers

You may pick berries, mushrooms and flowers which are not protected by law. However, it is prohibited to fell trees, bushes and shrubs without a permit, and breaking the branches, and the branches, remove the bark, or otherwise cause damage to the trees.

Take your  trash home

It is strictly forbidden to throw or leave trash in the wild. Broken glass, empty cans, plastic, fishing line or other debris ruining your experience in the outdoors and may cause harm to both humans and animals.

The sheltered nature 

In protected landscapes, national parks and nature reserves have special rules that may limit the right of public access. In other places, such as at the recreational areas, there may be local rules. 

Also keep in mind

Respect roads that closed of with a barrier, they are probably private held. Park the vehicle that it dont impede with other traffic. Show respect to the land owners and the local population. Behave so that the agricultural or forestry operations are not prevented. Take care of the soil and the vegetation. Let the flowers and seed heads to remain standing. Feel free to get in with the dog, but follow the leashrule as this is what you want. Behave so that you don't disturb the wildlife.
